Words of wisdom

25-05-2018 | Continue to pray

It''s through fervent prayer, you ask God to do what only He can do.

At times there seems to be a delay, and it looks as God is not responding, but in the book of Daniel there is an illustration, that reveals your prayers can be hindered, but from the first day.. God hears your prayers. Then he said to me, do not fear Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come because of your words. But the prince of the Kingdom of Persia, withstood me twenty one days, and behold Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I have been left alone there with the King of Persia (Daniel 10:12:13).

Never give up, for Daniel is one of clearest Old Testament examples that demonic armies oppose God’s purposes and earthly struggles at times. It takes relentless faith, perseverance and commitment to stay focused in these days we are living. Remember Daniel waited, fasted and prayed for 3 weeks; and prevailed in prayer. Discern that God heard your prayer the first day, discouragement may come; and delays can frustrate you, but don’t give up pursuing God, for He is working in and through you, and it will require determination to see the answer come.

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, He hears us, and if we know that He hears us…whatever we ask…we know that we have what we asked of Him. (1 John 5:14-15).

God does answer your prayer and it shall be done according: through faith, and your relationship with Him. His Kingdom come His will be done as it is in Heaven and on earth.

No matter how long we have to wait, it will be in God''s appointed time, for His plans and purpose will stand nothing else, continue to trust; for He has heard you...

14-03-2017 | God is calling you will you answer?

All of us are unique and formed by the hands of God with specific talents and gifts and each one of us are called to fulfill a specific purpose in our life. God created us and knows our strengths, weaknesses, and fears.
First God calls you to have a close, personal relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ.
He loves you, cares about you, and regardless of where you have been, what you have done, your failures, your hurts, and your struggles, seek Him, and this is a promise: He will make Himself known to you when you call upon Him. God calls people to become united with Him in every aspect of life. This can only occur as a response to Christ’s call to follow him.

Second God calls you for service: for He has a plan and purpose for your life, the prophet Jeremiah was very young when the Lord called him into service. He was ordained to be a prophet, a mouthpiece for God. Understanding the importance of such a position, he was filled with fear; and he thought he was not able to fulfill this call. God insisted that he should go where he was sent, and speak as he was commanded. God persuaded Jeremiah there was nothing to fear saying: He would be with him to provide any necessary deliverance. Just as God called Jeremiah to fulfill a purpose to Israel, so He calls every believer to fulfill their purpose.
Jeremiah 1:5:8: Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.

Some insights that can help us when God calls us, He speaks to us through His word, the bible, through His still small voice, through others, or it could be through a dream/ vison and divine guidance through the alignment of circumstances. Pray to get connected with the right people who are able to give you the right counsel, because others can often see strengths and weaknesses in us that we cannot.
In order to go forward with the call: you will receive understanding and confirmation, for everything God speaks/reveals will always be in agreement/line with His word it will never contradict. God will always confirm His direction for your life as you pray and seek His face.
All of us are called for service, and God is on the move. God is constantly moving us toward His purpose. He is constantly at work, calling, and sending, be willing and available and hear what God is calling you to. Go forward in faith and obedience and moreover, follow through, no matter how difficult and impossible it appears or seems. He is the one who called you, as with Jeremiah: He is with us, and never leaves you or forsakes you….

01-04-2015 | He will come to us like rain

rain.jpgWe need the refreshing rain of God’s presence in our life and in our nation...

Get to know the Lord and acknowledge Him, He desires to make Himself known to us.

Hosea 6:3: Then shall we know if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

Let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord, let us recognize, be acquainted with and understand Him, we have to be aware and at ease, when we are aware of Him, responsive, and attentive to His word, we will love to be in His presence.

The Hebrew word come as used in in this verse is bow (pr.bow) and means abide. (Strong Exhaustive Concordance). As we continue to pursue, press on into the knowledge of God, through His word, in repentance and righteousness, when you make this effort to know Him, especially through His word: He reveals Himself to you, and His word, presence will transform and change you in all characteristics of your life...

He who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6). In order to know the LORD… we have too diligently study His Word and we shall not only know Him, but we shall grow continually in that knowledge.

Then shall you know, if you follow on to know the Lord, be strong-minded to seek Him and to know Him, as you pursue the knowledge of the Lord, it will bring forth blessings and fruit.

Give diligent attendance to this word, and you will recognize; God is Holy, Good and Faithful. His going forth is as the dawn; and He will come to us like the rain, like the spring rain watering the earth. Be zealous to seek Him, as you pursue the knowledge of the Lord, as you desire to be in His presence His rain will come...
